Meeting and Chairing Training - March-April 2024

Would you like to start, or develop the circling/meeting practice in your learning community? Perhaps you’d like to develop an empowered way to support your community members of all ages to chair the meeting? Maybe your meeting is a bit of a struggle and you’d like to get it on track so it’s working really well for your community?

We are offering a live online Meeting and Chairing Training, designed to help you to build the confidence and skills to make your meeting culture a strong and steady part of your learning community.

The meeting will take place over three, 2 hour online sessions. Please note: This booking is for all three sessions. 

Sunday 10th March, 10am-12 (UK)
1) Meeting and Chairing theory session - Why do we even have a meeting and what is it for?

Sunday 24th March, 10am-12 (UK)
2) Chair Training - participate in the Chair Training process that we use at the Cabin and Lodge to become a trained Chair and hold the meeting. The intention is that you will then be able to take this training process into your own community. 

Sunday 7th April, 10am-12 (UK) or Sunday 7th April, 2pm-4pm (UK) or Sunday 21st April 10am-12 (UK)
3) Practice Chairing - you will have the chance to practice Chairing the meeting with coaching support. This will complete your training. 

There are three different time options for the Practice Chairing session as the group will be divided in to smaller groups of max. 6 to give everyone the chance to chair. People signing up to the training in teams will practice together.
